Step into the world of frights and become part of the cast for Halloscream 2026 at the iconic Luna Park Sydney! Your mission is to create unforgettably terrifying experiences for our guests, and we need your unique skills to bring the terror to life… this is not for the faint of heart!
We are looking for specialised circus skilled performers, scare actors and dancers. As part of a large team of performers, you will attend rehearsals and performances to train as a Scare Performer for the event. Your costume, props and makeup will be provided so you just need to bring the energy!
Please note that further casual shifts are not guaranteed past Halloscream 2026.

Be available to attend the audition on Thursday 24th September 2026 – 3pm to 7pm
Have or willing to get an NSW Working with Children’s Check for paid employment

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Have an energetic, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality
Be committed to safety and professionalism in all performances

Desired Skills and Experience
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience in live performance or entertainment, including theatre, acting, circus, dance, street performance or similar
Strong acting and improvisational skills, with the ability to think quickly, engage audiences and remain in character
Experience or proficiency in circus and specialty performance skills, such as:
Lyra / aerial performance
Juggling
Contortion
Miniature bicycle riding
Confident audience interaction, with the ability to engage and entertain a diverse range of guests
Some makeup skills, particularly character, theatrical or special effects makeup
Auditionees are encouraged to highlight any experience or proficiency in the following skills. While not all skills are required, they may be advantageous when considering performers for specific characters and performance opportunities.
